The Bible has full of great verses about love. God's unconditional love for us is the perfect example and as a starting point of love in marriage, friendship, loving your neighbor and brotherly love. Read what the Scriptures tells us about love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (New Living Translation NLT)

⁴ Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud ⁵ or rude. It does not demand its own way. There Is No Such Thing As Perfect People But Be Changed By A Perfect God

In Romans 3:23, “For everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. NLT” Obviously, no exemption, we ALL fall short... everyone has sinned. Jesus is perfect! He came to save and rescue the lost, that's us. We are sinners and we aren't perfect. 

We commit mistakes, we make bad decisions, we lie, we cheat, we do things that are not pleasant in God's eyes but no matter what, God loves each one of us. He loves us unconditionally. Because of His great love towards us, He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in the son will have eternal life (John 3:16).

Jesus paid the price in the cross of Calvary. We are imperfect but Jesus shed His blood so we can be perfect. We can't do it on our own, only God can change us.

He alone can change our hearts and our lives. So come before His presence, come as you are... and be changed by a PERFECT GOD.

Life Has Never Been Unfair

When people are into so much trouble, they would say "LIFE IS UNFAIR". Somehow, I tend to say that before because I always felt as being left out in the family. 'Twas kinda hard to handle as I always feel like I don't belong.

I've compared myself with my siblings in terms of height and appearance but when I grew up, my insight has been changed. It started when I got a good paying job... which then I become the breadwinner of the family.


One time, I had the chance to think and tell myself... "I might not have a good appearance but I got a good job. I'm blessed!"

Right then, I thought of that "life has never been unfair". You know why? Because some people might have beautiful face but then 'no brains'... some people might have lots of money but unhappy or unloved. So see, life is NOT unfair.

You are not the only one who is suffering. You are not the only one who faces so much problems. You are not only one having a hard time looking for a job. You are not the only only who is crying because of heartaches and pains. WE ALL ARE!

So when you are down, let me encourage you... "We all do encounter difficult times but we were given these because God knows we are brave enough to overcome everything with HIM."

A Promise To Never Leave

There is no such thing as perfect people and so as people's promises. They might make it happen or don't mind it at all. That is very unlikely to God - for God is faithful and so as His promises.

In Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you may go. He will never leave you nor forsake you."



In every single moment, God has never been too far to reach. A friend might be gone missing on the next day or your partner might leave you for no reason but God will stay and keep you wherever you may go.

God's love is infinite. His grace and mercy is unfailing. He is faithful and His promises never fails.

Let's keep and hold on to His promises every day of our lives until He returns.

Abraham - The Father of the Faithful

Characteristics:

1. Obedient (Genesis 12:4) 

So Abraham went as the Lord had told him, and he was 75 years old when he left Haram.

2. Unselfish 

Abraham gave Lot his nephew, the first choice of the land. Lot who was travelling with Abraham, but there was quarreling between the herdsmen of Abraham and the herdsmen of Lot, so Lot separated from him.

3. Benevolent 

Abraham gave the tenth of his income to Melchizedek the priest to God most high. The tenth of our income belongs to the Lord. Malachi says “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house.”

4. Mighty in Prayer 

Abraham prayed unto God with regards to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. But unluckily, God was not able to find even the 10 righteous people in Sodom.

5. Wonderful in Faith 

When God tested Abraham to offer Isaac, his only son. He believes that God is able to raise another son for him. He believes that God as able to fulfill what he had promised, i.e. to make the father of many nations.

Jesus Blueprint For Prayer

Prayer is the most demanding discipline in life. It is tough and real business in Jesus time. Prayer was the work and ministry was the prize, while he was praying earnestly, his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

In Luke 11:1 – when Jesus had finished praying, one of his disciples asked him, “Lord teach us how to pray,” why did they did not asked “Lord teach us to preach” or Lord show us how to minister” because prayer is the vital ingredient in Jesus ministry.

He said to them, when you pray means:


- Our Father - to enter into a relationship with God

- Hallowed be thy name- his person

- Your kingdom come – his program

- Your will be done – his purpose

- Gives us this day our daily bead – his provision

- Forgive us our sins – his pardon

- Lead us not into temptation – his protection

The Falling of Sodom And Gomorrah

Abraham was pleading with God to save Sodom and Gomorrah. That time, the sin of this place is grievous which makes the God of heaven angry before them. Abraham bargained with God, “if there be 50 righteous people found in Sodom, will you destroy the place?” and then 40 then 30, then 20, then 10. God will spare the city of Sodom for the sake of 10 righteous people. But God has not seen righteous people except Lot and his wife and 2 daughters.

The problem with Sodom is, it is extremely a bad city. Sexual violence is rampant. The people of Sodom according to Ezekiel 16 are arrogant and unconcerned, who does not care for the poor and needy.

God’s patience for them had finally run out. The Lord rained down burning sulphur on Sodom and Gomorah.

Mount Sodom – a mountain of crystalline salt, 5 miles long and 300 feet high along the south western shore near it. But the rains of Sodom are nowhere to be found.

Sodom earned his terrible judgement because of human sins.

How To Obtain God's Blessings

Material or financial blessing, are also considered as blessing. But there is more important of all kinds of blessing, and that is spiritual blessing. Nehemiah 2:20 says “The God of heaven is the one who will grant us success?”

1. Be humble – James 4:6 - God gives grace to the humble “He that exalts himself shall be humble but he that humble himself shall be exalted”. Humble yourself therefore under the mighty hand of God for he will exalt you in due time.
2. Be industrious – Luke 12: 43 – That salve whose master finds himself working when he comes will be rewarded. Laziness will lead us to poverty.
3. Be identified with Christ – I Timothy 4:12 – be an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. People must see the likeness of God in you. Good deeds will glorify God.
4. Be often – Luke 6:38 – Give and it shall be given unto you. Proverbs says, kindness to the poor is a loan to the Lord, and he gives reward to the lender. For us to obtain blessing, giving is the key, for God loves a cheerful giver.

The Life of a Christian

Proverbs 30:19 - the way of an eagle is in the sky”. It is compared to the lifestyle of a Christian. First and foremost, to be an eagle, you must be born an eagle. In other words, to be a Christian, you must be born a Christian, you need to be born again which means there must be newness in life or newness in character.

Secondly, eagle loves storms. For eagles, storms are beneficial. One reason is, it will cause the eagle to fly higher and faster. So, for Christians, storms or trials will cause you to move to a higher level. Trials will give you perseverance and patience. The other reason is, storms will allow the eagle to use less effort. The stronger the storms, the lesser the strength exerts the eagles. Trials will allow Christians to depend on God and not to depend on its own strength.


Thirdly, eagles are faithful to their mate. Faithfulness is essential to a Christian. If you are not loyal to your mate whom you see, neither shall you to be loyal to God whom you not see. Be faithful unto the end and you shall receive the crown of life.

What Must I Do

A jail warden asks Paul and Silas “Sirs, what must I do to be saved”? Most of the people today have a big question in their minds. “Am I going to heaven or am I going to hell?” When I die, where should I go? Or is there such a place called heaven. Simply because they do not know the answer.

Paul and Silas answered the prison keeper “believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved...” to man this is impossible but with God all things are possible. They are not saved because they do not believe.


The main purpose why Jesus came is to see and save that which was lost. He is not willing to lost people in hell but that all should come to repentance. The shedding of Jesus blood in the cross is for the remission of our sins. Salvation comes to those who are willing to accept and make Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives. Secondly acknowledge that you are a sinner, thirdly have faith in God.
